Tsinghua University will be convening a meeting to be conducted virtually on Friday, July 3, 2020, 08:00 am – 10:00 am (Beijing time, GMT+8), to share Tsinghua’s experience with university partners and education stakeholders, on the very urgent topic of online education during this unprecedented health emergency.
The meeting is themed Higher Education in the Cloud – Promise, Experience, and Expectation. It consists of in-depth presentations on various aspects of online education during the COVID-19 period (see below for the full agenda):
- COVID-19’s implications for the delivery of higher education;
- the interim release of Tsinghua’s research and practical outcomes stemming from its transition to online education, and;
- identifying trends and solutions for inclusive distance learning going forward.
Tsinghua’s experience – as the first university to shift all courses online in the wake of the epidemic – and subsequent research findings that were evaluated from various angles will be shared during the meeting in the spirit of mutual learning and support.
